Calvary Baptist Church
Ministries
Calvary Baptist Church offers many different ministries. These each cater to different needs such as learning to grow in faith, connecting with one another, helping the community, and many other activities.

Youth Program
Our church youth group brings together young individuals who are learning about salvation, being a child of God, fellowship, and a commitment to faith. The youth program is led by Jake and Courtney Anderson. The group of youth does a variety of activities and projects as well as youth trips. At Calvary Baptist, we have youth services on Wednesday evenings as well as an adult study. The youth group is a tight knit group and forges friendships, spiritual exploration, and a journey of faith.

Women's Missionary Union (WMU):
Women on a Mission
&
Sister's on a Mission
WMU is an organization that supports missionaries locally, nationally, and internationally.
Women on a Mission is a division of WMU. The women meet the first Thursday of every month at 6:00PM to discuss mission projects and pray for our missionaries. Women on a Mission is directed by our member, Wanda Dykes.
Sister's on a Mission is another division of WMU. This group is responsible for any baby showers, housewarming showers, and mission work. This group is led by Tonya Epperson.

Food Pantry
&
Operation Christmas Child
The food pantry ministry is led by church member, Surelda Combs. This ministry is for anyone that needs assistance. Those in need can call 606-425-4536. If you would like to donate, the food pantry accepts canned goods and non perishable food items.
Operation Christmas Child is led by Tonya Epperson. Sister's on a Mission over see this mission project. Different items are collected all year long. A "packing party" meets and assembles all the boxes to be assembled prior to mailing out. These boxes are sent internationally to kids in need by the Samaritan Christmas Child. A child only receives one box of goods in their lifetime.
